Our building has been constructed in the typical style of Sicilian rural houses, with stone and dry walls, surrounded by centuries-old olive and carob trees. The natural garden and the delicious fruits from our garden make our guests' stay even more enjoyable.
We have two available apartments that are part of our building: "La Mansarda" and "La Terrazza".
"La Mansarda" is located on the first floor and consists of two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds that can be joined to create a king-size double bed. There is also a bathroom and a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. Guests can enjoy a spacious veranda (30sqm) with a panoramic view, furnished with a table and chairs.
"La Terrazza" is located on the ground floor and consists of a bedroom with a private bathroom, a dining room, and a kitchen with utensils. Outside, there is a terrace with a panoramic view, furnished with a table and chairs, exclusively for the guests' use.
Both apartments are equipped with air conditioning and independent heating, and provided with bed linen and towels.
Guests have access to all the outdoor spaces of the building. Parking is free, as well as Wi-Fi internet connection.
We offer delicious meals made with local ingredients and produced by ourselves. Our breakfasts, lunches, and dinners are a true culinary experience, thanks to the use of typical products such as extra virgin olive oil, wine, preserves, jams, homemade bread, and pasta made with sourdough. We are mindful of our guests' dietary needs and are experts in preparing meals suitable for food intolerances.
I am an enthusiastic nature guide, teacher, and cooking lover. I carefully cultivate organic products in my garden and enjoy sharing my passion with guests. In our garden, chickens, geese, peacocks, 2 dogs, and 3 cats live freely. These animals are part of our environment and contribute to the beauty of the place. The idea of hosting arises from the desire to share my lifestyle with people who appreciate simple things and the wonders of nature.
Our residence is located in the splendid countryside of southeast Sicily, near Rosolini, between the provinces of Syracuse and Ragusa. This strategic location allows you to visit UNESCO cities of great artistic, architectural, and natural value. Just 18 km away is Modica, famous for its majestic baroque churches and delicious typical chocolate. 35 km away are Ragusa Ibla and Scicli, rich in historic baroque monuments. In just a few minutes, you can reach the charming city of Noto, considered the capital of Sicilian baroque. Syracuse, the ancient city of Dionysius and Archimedes, with its Greek theater and the enchanting island of Ortigia, is only 40 km away. Furthermore, a short distance away, you can find the clear waters of the Ionian Sea (Marzamemi, Isola delle Correnti, Eloro, Calamosche, and the Vendicari reserve) or the enchanting beaches and golden sand dunes of the Mediterranean Sea.
